Roll up, Roll up! One of the largest amateur theatre companies in the UK is supporting Sheffield Hospitals Charity this Christmas.

Manor Operatic Society has named us as its charity of the year for its festive panto performances, live from Sheffield City Hall.

The society offered the goodwill gesture after hearing charity supporter Anne Dawson speaking on BBC Radio Sheffield earlier in the year.

The members so were inspired by Anne’s bravery in talking about her husband’s death from blood cancer myeloma that they wanted to do something to help.

Charity staff and volunteers will be holding bucket collections at the fifteen performances this year, from 27 December 2017 to 7 January 2018.

Money raised will support three of Sheffield Hospitals Charity’s appeals - Cure Myeloma, Jessops Birthing Pool Appeal and Bikes for Dialysis.

Tickets are available from the Sheffield City Hall Box Office on 01142 789 789 or online at www.sheffieldcityhall.co.uk. Tickets are also available from Mabel Delamore, by calling 01709 365108.
