Dementia Appeal

When you're living with dementia the world can feel very different.

Right now, one in four patients across Sheffield hospitals are living with dementia. They can often find hospital stressful and confusing.

That's why we need your help. By helping to create a hospital environment that meets the unique needs of people with dementia, you'll make their experience of hospital so much better - and give them the best chance of going home feeling fit and healthy.

Will you join us, and help make your local hospitals better for people with dementia today?

When you're living with dementia, the world can feel very different. That means people with dementia often struggle with the traditional hospital environment.

Going into an unfamiliar place like a hospital can be frightening and confusing for people with dementia and can cause their dementia symptoms to get worse. If this happens, it can become more and more difficult for them to go home.

But we believe every patient living with dementia should leave hospital as fit and healthy as possible.

That’s why we’re taking action. Dementia affects one in four patients across Sheffield hospitals. We need your help, to create hospital spaces specially designed with the unique needs of dementia in mind.

Please join us, and play your part in improving your local hospitals for patients with dementia. We need to raise £200,000 this year to start making these improvements.

With the number of people living with dementia increasing every day, your support has never been so important. By making a gift today, you'll start making a difference to these patients right away.
