On the 5th July 2018 the National Health Service is turning 70, and what better way to celebrate one of the nation’s most loved institutions than with a cup of tea.

But this will be more than just a regular brew. People up and down the country are getting together to raise a cuppa to our beloved NHS and raise funds for NHS charities.

As the official charity for Sheffield Teaching Hospitals, we think it’s the perfect opportunity to celebrate the achievements of our fantastic NHS, its staff and to appreciate the vital role they play in our lives. Let's thank these everyday heroes – who are there to guide, support and care for us, day in, day out.

So join us and the thousands of others who will be taking part in this national tea party to celebrate throughout the month of July. Your fundraising will help patients, families and NHS staff in Sheffield feel even better.

Before putting the kettle on;

  • Set up your JustGiving page to collect your fundraising the easy way and ensure it reaches us quickly and safely so we can put it to work right away.

  • Follow us on Facebook and Twitter to keep up to date with the birthday celebrations and see what other people in your local community are up to.

  • If you collect sponsorship offline, you can pay in your fundraising here. Remember to leave us a note in the comments box so we know where your funds have come from.

Tea and cake not your thing?

Why not make a donation or organise your own fundraising activity. However you choose to celebrate 70 years of our National Health Service, be sure to let us know.
