This weekend, our NHS – your NHS, is celebrating 72 years since its formation and we wanted to take this opportunity to say ‘HAPPY BIRTHDAY!’ Join us in wishing the NHS a 'Happy Birthday' For 72 years the National Health Service has repeatedly proven itself to be the best of Britain. It has shown a remarkable ability to rise to any challenge it faces and, here in Sheffield, we could not be more proud to be its official charity partner. For years, we have proudly stood shoulder to shoulder with our NHS, its hospitals and its unbelievable staff, and we continue to do so. We are so grateful for everything that they do for us all and we will always do all that we can to support our NHS. Say 'thank you' to our NHS Unfortunately, this NHS birthday will be different to any other and we are unable to throw the party that the health service deserves. But that will not dampen down the love that we all have for our NHS. The fact that we celebrate this birthday in these unprecedented circumstances is just another reason why we are so grateful for our NHS. As the country deals with the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic, it is the NHS that continues to go above and beyond to care for us in the most difficult circumstances. It is fitting, therefore, that we do even more to celebrate this 72nd birthday to show just how grateful we are.
