Sheffield Hospitals Charity is seeking to appoint a Community and Events Fundraiser.

Sheffield Hospitals Charity raises, manages and distributes funds to support better healthcare for the people of Sheffield and the wider region. Every year, we spend around £2.5 million across the NHS in Sheffield, making a real and positive difference to the lives of patients and staff. Thousands of people each year get behind their local hospitals by fundraising, making a donation or volunteering their time. We are looking for someone with passion and commitment to help support them, whilst driving our growth and ambition to be the local healthcare charity of choice.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Community & Events Fundraiser within our busy Fundraising Team. You will lead on the organisation of the charity’s large scale, annual flagship events and other key fundraising campaigns, ensuring that supporters have everything they need to maximise their fundraising income, leaving them feeling great about the difference they are making to local people.

This is a very varied role which involves a wide range of fundraising duties. It’s essential that the successful candidate will have fundraising experience, preferably within community and events, as we are looking for someone who can hit the ground running with our existing events and fundraising campaigns, whilst being proactive at identifying and developing new opportunities for the charity.

This is a full-time position based at the charity’s office at Wycliffe House at the Northern General Hospital.

To apply, please send your CV and a covering letter to [email protected]

Closing date is 24th February 2019.
