To our supporters,

As a charity, like you and the rest of our community, we trying to adapt to the current government advice regarding the outbreak of Covid-19. These are unprecedented times for all of us and so we are working hard to ensure that everything we do protects our staff, our supporters and the wider community. As a result, we are having to make some significant changes to the way that we work and we wanted you all to be the first to know. But one thing will always remain the same: whatever we do and however we do it, we will always continue to support Sheffield Teaching Hospitals, and its staff as best we possibly can. And we know that that is more important at the moment than it ever has been.

With all of this in mind, we have taken the decision to close our offices and suspend all face to face meetings with supporters and corporate partners. This is not something that we ever wanted to do or ever thought we would have to do, but the health and well-being of everybody has to be our number one priority.

Whilst we may not be in the office at the moment, you can rest assured that we will still be working around the clock remotely to support our hospitals at this time of need, and to help you in your efforts to fundraise for them. If you need us, we will be there for you.

If you have any questions, please email us at [email protected] and we will be in touch. The charity remains open and we will do all we can to give you the support that you need.

We know that these are worrying times for everybody and we just want you to know that we are thinking of everybody in Sheffield and the wider community at the moment, sending you best wishes and hoping that you stay safe. It is true, though, that our amazing hospitals and our incredible NHS staff need us more than ever at the moment; they are working tirelessly to care for us and as a charity we are proud to stand shoulder to shoulder with them. If you can help to support them in any way - through fundraising, or through a donation, then please visit our latest appeal or contact us at [email protected]. Your help means more than ever.
