Corporate support

As a business that is rooted in the local community, we feel it’s only right that we support those who may be going through difficult times

Phil Coley director, DuoCall

We are grateful to the huge generosity of our business partners, who play a significant role in enabling us to improve the lives and wellbeing of more than 2 million patients in Sheffield, South Yorkshire, Mid Yorkshire and North Derbyshire.

  • Get in touch to take the first step towards supporting patients as a business partner.

Helping each other

Building a partnership with Sheffield Hospitals Charity is a wonderful opportunity not only to make a significant difference to the care offered to people treated at Sheffield Teaching Hospitals, but also to show the public the sort of company you are while bringing your employees together.

  • Support the community: many of your staff, clients and other stakeholders are likely to have had some contact with the hospitals within our network. Show your support for all the individuals linked to your company – and beyond.

  • Bring your staff together: teaming up for fundraising events is a chance for your employees to come together for a popular cause, boosting morale and encouraging unity within your organisation.

  • Make a real difference: our work directly enhances the care and wellbeing of patients across the Sheffield Hospitals network. By contributing, you will be going beyond your day-to-day business to support the individuals most in need.

What could your business do?

You may have an idea of the part your organisation would like to play in helping offer the best possible support to patients and staff at Sheffield Teaching Hospitals – we'd love to hear it! Here are a few of the ways other businesses have contributed:

  • DuoCall sponsored our popular Jessops Superheroes event, a 5k sponsored walk to raise money for sick and premature babies in the Jessop Wing. The event raised over £40,000 in 2017
  • Marks and Spencer Ecclesall Road selected us as their charity of the year, organising charity evenings and individual challenges in memory of section manager Dave Mooney's stillborn child, Oscar
  • Halifax and Lloyds banking group have supplied corporate volunteers for events – where they help the smooth running of our fundraisers – and for the office, where their specialist knowledge helps us do even more

Staff from Marks and Spencer Meadowhall, carrying a cheque for more than £26,000 for Sheffield Hospitals Charity

We wanted to raise £25,000 in 25 weeks because it is Marks and Spencer’s Meadowhall 25-year anniversary. All departments got involved and did their own fundraising – ladies fashions, menswear, lingerie, catering. They were all enthusiastic even if they didn’t know Pat very well

We are excited about the huge potential of harnessing the power and compassion of your organisation to support our fundraising efforts for Sheffield's patients. Get in touch now to discuss the ways that together, we can make a difference.
