I had been thinking about organising a Call the Midwife style bike ride for a while, the aim being to raise the profile of the wonderful work that we all do at the Jessop Wing. We had a target of £10,000 – it was a big amount – but we did it!

Amanda Muller, Jessop Wing Midwife and Fundraiser

Do something amazing

Whether you want to give something back to thank Sheffield Teaching Hospitals, you want to support local patients or you are taking on a personal challenge, we'll support you all the way.

Whatever you choose to do and however you choose to do it, the money you raise will help to fund specialist equipment, pioneering research, patient and family support services and the transformation of your local hospitals into more comfortable and welcoming environments.

Let the world know

You're doing something amazing and you should let as many people know as possible. Not only will you attract more donations, but you'll also be spreading awareness of what we can achieve together.

If you're hosting an event, don't forget to promote it in the local area using posters and flyers. Remember to include the time, date, location, link to your fundraising page. You can ask your local shops and businesses if you can display posters on their premises – they’re usually very happy to help!

Online

Once you've set up your fundraising page, it will be easy for your friends and family to make a donation. All you need to do is to send them the link! We're on social media, too, so include us in your messages and follow our pages to keep up to date with the latest news and supporter tips and we'll be able to share your fundraising efforts with all our supporters. You can find us on Facebook and Twitter.
