Sheffield Hospitals Charity have been chosen as Meadowhall's latest charity partner, as part of an initiative to celebrate the 75th Anniversary of the NHS this year.

The partnership means that visitors to the centre can easily donate to SHC through their giant Giving Box located on the Upper Arcade.

The Giving Box allows for donations of £3, £5 or £10.

Following the success of the Charity pop up store in July selling limited edition Henderson's Relish bottles designed by ambassador and legendary Sheffield artist Joe Scarborough, the Charity team are back in the centre on 28th September for the return of Meadowhall's Student Event.

New students to the City can get their hands on the limited edition bottles on sale from an artisan cart, with a guide to 'Cooking the Sheffield Way'. There's also a chance for students to grab a Henderson's inspired 'Strong and Northern' temporary tattoo and show their support for the Charity in a really unique way.

Beth Crackles, Sheffield Hospitals Charity new CEO said: 'We're delighted to have been selected as Meadowhall's new charity partner, particularly during the NHS's 75th Anniversary year. The work done by our colleagues in local hospitals is incredible and we are proud to be able to fund the things they can't afford - from drug trails to rehab equipment - which allow them to go the extra mile for patients. Thanks to Meadowhall's fundraising drive until the end of December, people in our local community who have been cared for in our hospitals will have a really easy way to give back, and make a difference to others like them.'
